Presidential primary season is upon us! This utility-post job was spotted on Shepherd, somewhere south of Westheimer.
Just a reminder … empty lot signs and illegally placed campaign signage doesn’t just happen for city elections. 2012 Primaries are right around the corner.
Four days after the election. Apparently “overzealous supporters” don’t take down the signs they put up.
And they say football is a game of inches! Taken during Early Voting at the downtown polling location.
An overpass sign that I’m sure the candidate will blame on his mythical “overzealous supporters.” This is taken from the Leeland overpass of Eastex Freeway downtown.

Kirby & Braeswood. Believe it or not, this is a Dave Wilson for Mayor campaign sign. Apparently, it has been toppled by an act of a very just God.
Ellen Cohen. Sunset and Wilton. Someone who lives on the street tells me State Senator Rodney Ellis lives in this house. You’d think he’d know the state laws. Tsk, tsk. The vast majority of the Cohen signs are behind the sidewalks where they are legal. It doesn’t seem too tough to figure that out and then notice that your own sign is different. (Am I being too picky? Obviously there are worse violations.)
